That’s right! I can hardly believe it myself! In just seven days, I will give my heart to the man I respect above all others next to Christ: my knight in shining armor, Adriel!
As I prepare to enter into this joyful but serious covenant, I find myself thinking back on the last eight years of my life as a single young woman on the mission field. I’m remembering the victories, the struggles, the losses, the blessings. I’m thinking of how so many of you who read these updates have blessed my life and supported me as I endeavor to reach the unreached.
And I just wanted to say thank you 🙂
I’m so grateful for each of you and for the years I’ve had serving in Asia. It is one of the greatest honors of my life that God chose me for this. And I’m so excited to continue serving Him alongside Adriel. Our adventure is really just beginning!
I wish that all of you could celebrate with Jay and I next Sunday as we say “I do!” Even though I know that’s not the case, I wanted to share our wedding website with you if you’re interested in hearing more about our personal story, celebrating from afar or checking out our wedding registry.
After the wedding, Adriel and I will be Stateside for about six months to support raise and take furlough. Thank you for continuing to support us during this special period of time! 🙂 Once we settle in after the honeymoon, we are really hoping for special time to connect with all our supporters and dream together about the future. Hopefully we make some new partners, too!
In closing, I just want to say… it really is worth it, following Christ. He is the greatest gift, the highest reward. And he is so, so good.
