I have officially been home for a week and it has been an absolute blessing. Since returning home my days and nights have been filled dinners and lunches chatting about Asia, life, and everything in between. I have been so blessed by so many dear friends deciding to partner with me as we desire to see God’s kingdom come to Earth.
Every single day, God is constantly blowing me out of the water in the many ways He is providing for me. Just today my computer was on the fritz and it fizzled out on me, but within moments God provided another computer. My sister had a computer that only needed a charging chord, otherwise it works well. I couldn’t believe it! But that is how much our God loves us. He will always provide what we need when we need it. During this season of support raising, He has been constantly showing me how faithful He is. In 2 Timothy it says that, “…if we are faithless, He remains faithful — for He cannot deny Himself.” In Matthew 6:25-34 we can read all about how He lavishes us with what we need because He loves us deeply. He knows exactly what we need when we need it and He is faithful to take care of us.
What a challenge for me to keep trusting our God to be God. I am reading this book while I am home called “The Uninvited.” It is a great book so far! In the second chapter they asked three questions, and I have been wrestling with them ever since I read them.
Do you believe God is good?
Do you believe God has good things for you?
Do you trust God to be God?
When I first saw those questions I immediately answered, “YES!” But as I began to search my heart I realized that I will look at the unruly circumstances of life and let that bog me down and cloud my mind about God love and character. But He is constantly showing, teaching, and renewing my heart and mind in how much He cares for His beloved.
Thank you all for your prayers, love, and support over these past 11 months! As I have been talking to some of you, God has just shown me how utterly blessed I am by all of your love and care. I never doubt that you all are praying for me and I want you to know that I take time weekly to pray for you all.
