I hope all is well with you all of you and that you’re staying warm! We have had a few snow squalls here in the States and it’s been quite cold. But all in all, it’s been a pretty mild winter so far, which I am thankful for. Lately life has been quite busy! We have been having language class just about every day. I have been enjoying learning so much, and it gives me hope that I can indeed learn the language! We’re also involved in recruiting which is going to different events and sharing about the ministry and what we do! It’s great to be able to share with people what God is doing in Asia! We also daily are calling people who have shown interest in us in the past and asking them if they feel called to Asia! It’s been fun connecting with people and hearing their heart for missions. We’ve also been challenging people to take a year and go to Asia!
Lately I have felt excited and anxious. We just found out that we are going to be leaving between April 27-29. All of this is so exciting and scary at the same time. It’s not the same as last time where I knew I was coming back in 9 months. This is a real commitment and I am with them for the long haul. But I know this is what God is calling me to do and I can be confident in that and I know He will sustain me! I know it will be bittersweet! I have been itching to get back.
Please be praying for me as I prepare, and that I would get everything done that I need to and want to before departing. Please also pray against attacks of the enemy, with it coming so close I have felt the enemy trying to creep in and discourage and distract me. Thanks again!
A friend from Asia came here to go to a local Bible school! What a blessing it is to have made good friends with her! I am so thankful for this friendship! I think it is a Godsend! Anyway, we got to make some Asian dumplings together! It was wonderful!
