“You’re famous!”
I was perplexed.
“Really. Lola, you’re famous on our campus.”
I couldn’t help but smile as our brother, David, was relaying to me a conversation with his classmates. Apparently, I’m kinda a big deal…
While I admit that I find pleasure in the fact that I’m known on the campus I’ve made home this year, I rejoice that Jesus is being known on that campus in ways He wasn’t 10 months ago!
As I am packing my bags, cleaning out my apartment and preparing to fly home next week, I have been reflecting on all that has happened this year—the 150+ students that heard the Gospel for the first time, healings that took place, the 25+ students on our campus alone who chose to surrender their life to Christ, the new brothers and sisters I was able to baptize in my apartment, and the church that was started and the 10 months of life on life discipleship. And all that doesn’t even begin to take into account all that the Lord has taught me personally.
Your prayer and financial support is such a HUGE part of all of that—THANK YOU!!!
