It was Tuesday afternoon of last week. My roommates and I had made some lunch plans with two girls some of our other friends had met a week before. I was nervous as to how the meeting would go since we hadn’t met in person before. Once we sat down I began
Once we sat down I began praying for an opportunity to share with them. It was half an hour of getting to know each other when my roommates and I broke the ice and asked if we could tell them more about Jesus. The joy of God was filling me more and more as we all collectively shared with them. We noticed they were both leaning over the table in wonder. We asked if they too would want to join the family and they both hesitated until one of them
We noticed they were both leaning over the table in wonder. We asked if they too would want to have a relationship with God and they both hesitated until one of them said, “I have never experienced God; I cannot believe”. We then asked if we could pray that God reveal Himself to them and they both got excited and quickly said “yes!”
After we prayed over them, we asked if they heard or felt anything, when one of the girls said, “My heart feels excited!” her eyes glowing with hope and life. I then asked the other girl and she said, “When you were praying, God spoke to me and I feel that He is real.” Her face displayed awe as if she couldn’t fully comprehend what she was feeling. After we talked some more and asked again they both said “yes” and wanted us to teach them how to pray. It was amazing!
Dad did something awesome in both of them and He supernaturally provided understanding for our new sisters Helda and Tien!
